Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

herewiss13I'm a fan of Douglas Adams. Not a huge one, but a fan. I like Dirk Gently more than Arthur Dent, which appears to be rare, but I think Pratchett is funnier anything Adams has done...which is not.
That being said, I've been quietly optimistic about the upcoming Hitchhiker's Movie. If nothing else, the effects should be better than the _last_ movie which was filmed back at the dawn of cheap special effects.
Then I saw this trailer:

For those of you who don't have the connection to see this, let me just say that it's an entry from the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy regarding movie-trailers and all the standard concepts found within one.
That's right. It's a meta-trailer with it's tongue so far into its cheek that it might very well be licking it's ear. I think my favorite quote is the description of the typical movie trailer narrator, who sounds "like a 7 foot tall man who's been smoking cigarettes his entire life."
If the movie is _half_ as clever as the trailer, it'll be one of the funniest movies in a long, looooong time.
