Well, they say bad things come in threes, so I ought to have just one more to go.

Yesterday my bike was stolen. Today, my _new_ girlfriend "bowed out of the relationship" for reasons that, once again, had nothing to do with me.

And tomorrow I get to go to the psychiatrist to talk about my depression, anxiety and unemployment. Can we say "irony".

::sigh::

It's times like this that I _really_ wish I drank.

my _new_ girlfriend "bowed out of the relationship"

Should we fix her up with Faux? They can non-commit and be clueless together.

I advocate Cool Ranch Doritos and peanut M&M's - and lots of Zoloft.

A possibility. I was dumped over email too. Though to be fair, we've never used the phone (I have a Thing) and being told that we needed to Talk In Person would have amounted to the same declaration, really.

Gah. That's a drag. I would be happy about the psychiatrist part, at least if it were someone I liked. (I like mine -- she's a Buffy fan, among other shining qualities.)

I also know the profound irritation at times of being a non-drinker. Hope things get better soon.

Well it's a new psychiatrist, first session. So I get to tell my entire life story _again_, reliving all the myriad failures that have got me depressed in the first place _plus_ the latest. Yeah, I know therapy is supposed to be hard, etc. but I can't say I'm really looking forward to it.

...and the chances of this guy watching Buffy seem too miniscule to even contemplate. I remember the expression my last counsellor had as I attempted to explain fanfiction.

Hope things get better soon.

Thanks. Me too;-)

Ouch. Don't drink; when are you going to be online next? Sounds like you need someone to talk to who already knows at least part of your life story.
