Perfect timing

So I'm done with a show, I'm starting a new show in two days and in two weeks I go on vacation. Also, I'm in the process of finding a new place to living and moving in there (meeting with someone to look at a property in about an hour right now).

Needless to say, my immune system decided now would be the best time to go on vacation...without me. Head colds suck.

It could be worse...I could still need to sing.

Woe is me! Woe, I say!

It goes without saying that the call center job is a _lot_ of fun right now too. But I'll say it anyway, 'cause I'm sick.

Ouch. I had my immune system bow out over Thanksgiving (or winter break; it runs together) one year. I was grateful; nothing was due over the break, except my presence at the holiday table.

That was back when I still had an appetite even when I was midly ill. Not so true, these days.

Also, think how much worse it could be. You could need to sing - or be trying to do the tourist gig with tissue in hand.
