Hello Again
Nov. 25th, 2004 11:31 pmSo...it's been an extremely long time since I posted anything. Nor was I ever a really regular poster. And yet, there are people on my f-list. Some of you are no doubt just being polite, but others must have friended me for some reason (and no, I'm not fishing for compliments).
I'd _like_ to try and start posting on a more regular basis...but I'm stumped as to a focus. So I put it to you: the proud, the few, my readers. Which of the following would you like to see more often.
1) Scientific meanderings?
2) Science Fictional Meanderings (sometimes closely related to #1)
3) Book comments & reviews
4) T.V. commentary
5) Movie Commentary
6) The sordid details of my actual life which currently involve volunteering at the info desk at the public library, a community theater performance of 'Beauty and the Beast' (my first play in 5 years) and the many torrid episodes of my relationship with a long-term girlfriend I'm still coming to terms with (me? girlfriend? serious? wow.)
7) Other: something I've done in the past but forgotten to mention...or something new you'd like me to try. I'd be willing to take a shot at periodic haiku, for instance.
Pick as many or as few as you like. Or none. I can stay silent too.
Thanks.

Somewhat limited in scope, I admit, but it would surely be a challenge to put together a collection that covered all of the elements, given the preponderance of four to six syllable names. (I've always been rather fond of the Tom Lehrer bit, where he sings the names of the elements to the tune of "I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General" --
particularly when he verges on "Sylvester the Cat" for "iodine and thorium and thulium and thallium." Thufferin' thuccotash!)
Not really to the point of your question, I realize. I guess I would say "all of the above," although I suppose that's not very helpful.
