Firefly REBORN!

Today has been a very good day for me. I'm house-sitting at a place with a cable modem. And I just happened to run across a webpage hosting the three unaired Firefly eps. Ten Minutes to download 'Heart of Gold'! For someone who usually gets about 50kbs, this is truly miraculous. Try not to stampede the place, but here is the place.

I was giddy starting out, and now I'm just depressed. Because now it's really over. All that time I knew there was more out there, even if I hadn't seen it. Now I've seen it and it's done. The Fat Lady has sung, the set deconstructed and the cast disbanded. All the stories and laughter and tears and moments of quiet beauty will never be seen no more. Not even the next time Joss pulls something out of his hat, because it will be different.
