Feb. 5th, 2003 12:05 amI'm not the same person I was three weeks ago. For one thing, I'm never home in the evenings anymore. Whether this is good or bad is yet to be seen, but I'm definitely falling off a really complicated cliff. The only question is whether I'm going to hit some downy pillows or some hard bedrock.
Yes, it must be spring, when a young man's fancy turns to hardcore infatuation. I'm too skittish to use the "L" word at this point. Best leave myself some wiggle room in case things go pear-shaped (it's important to have, in advance, a good lie to tell yourself in such circumstances, so you don't have to backpedal your emotional investment too obviously).
::sigh:: Only human relationships can be so ugly and so wonderful at the exact same time.
I'm not going to get into the gory details, because...well, for a number of reasons, not least of which is you really don't need to be inflicted with them. Plus it's fun to be elliptical on occasion.
Let's just say that HSDD and a sense of curiosity in the same package make Jack a conflicted and frustrated boy.
...and after all that, I still can't say I'm not having fun.

Which explains why I haven't seen you on IM much lately. *S*
Good luck with the infatuation; I wouldn't call it a spring thing yet, it's only February.
